You can get a $ 15 water pump, or go for a bit more money and get a GMB water pump. Personally, with all the labor involved, I choose the GMB. Did my homework on it. They have very good reviews all around. Like any other water pump, just don't overheat it, run it on tap water, or use the incorrect coolant, and it will last you a long time. I decided to change out my 20yr old OEM water pump, but got sticker shock at the price of a new OEM pump. I don't expect the car to be around another 20 years, so this pump will do just fine. The GMB is an exact match, comes with a gasket, ( unlike OEM that just uses sealant). The quality was exceptional ! No binding or bearing play when I manually turned the pump. I expect to get plenty of use out of it. Dropped a star only because it's not OEM.
