Buy them if you have a V-8.
I have these on two Chevy V-8 powered pre-smog cars. The sound is deep and mellow, not raspy like so many others. An even deeper, more throaty sound is achieved if a crossover or "H" pipe is installed in the system. The quality is good and the price is reasonable for a quality muffler. I installed a pair of these (when they were branded Walker Super-Turbo) on a 1955 Chevy and they lasted eighteen years before they needed replacement.

My husband had a little difficulty putting it on because it didn't have arrows so we had to look up YouTube see which direction the flow went
Wish it came with arrows of air flow would have been easier to install
