always use acdelco
Always use ACDELCO parts, you will never have a problem, one note, when you install the wiring harness use clear silicone and seal the entire rubber part on top, this will prevent malfunction that happens in first place why they rot and short out. the rain or pressure wash will shorten the life of your knock sensors, this will seal them in. good fit and function.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not original GM sensors
I first bought cheap sensors and had garage install. They did not work and I lost $450.00 in labor fee because I supplied the parts. So, seeing this appeared to be a good deal on OEM acdelco parts, I bought them and did the job myself. Same problem. Codes 332 and 327 low circuit on both. Finally broke down and went straight to dealership and bought genuine ones and harness. Both have noticeable differences. Sensors came in acdelco bag but harness did not. Not original parts I highly recommend going to your local dealer and purchasing there unless you want to end up like me with nearly $1000 in trying to correct knock sensor codes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Delco Chevrolet knock sensors
My 2005 Tahoe had the infamous obd code 332 (knock sensor is malfunctioning). I replaced both with a replacement wiring harness. My replacements were bought at the local auto parts store. They were not delco. They both failed very soon after installed. I have removed the intake manifold now 4 times. Finally, I bought the ac delco sensors (on line) and installed them. Thus far so good. I have driven several hundred miles. Here's hoping they last. Local repair shops recommend installing them on the engine somewhere other than than beneath the intake manifold.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Knock Senor Problems
I was have Code P0332 popping up on my 5.3 PCM, so I replaced both sensors and the knock sensor harness with AC Delco OG equipment and have not had any problem since. I paid a pinch south of $150 for everything.....Some may say thats way too much for those parts, but you get what you pay for. I was told iby some of the guys in the online forums to never buy any parts that are not GM original equipment, unless you like doing the job twice. Will not work on Silverado
I had a knock sensor code on one bank in my 2005 Silverado 2500HD and decided to change both sensors. For a day, no check engine light. Then, it came on and both knock sensors were showing low voltage this time (before was only 1)! I checked connections and wires. All ok. I took out the new knock sensors and measured the AC voltage they produce when you tap on the end of them. It is significantly less than that created by my good original knock sensor. I put the one good original knock sensor back on and no code for it but the new one did have the code within a day again. My conclusion is these sensors work but do not generate enough voltage to satisfy the computer so it causes fault codes (so essentially they don’t work). I also suspect these are not genuine AC delco parts even though they came packaged as such. I will be heading to my local parts store to order a genuine AC Delco replacement. Wasted my hard earned money here. I suggest everyone to avoid these.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is the real deal
I too made the mistake of installing another brand of knock sensor after I made another mistake by pressure washing the front of the engine when replacing the water pump. Found out afterwards that pressure washing the GM engines is a bad idea. After installing the off-brand I soon started getting the code again, so I ordered and installed new AC Delco knock sensors. No more knocking blues
