Appears to be good quality fit 99 Jeep Cherokee; Very good instructions. Good packing. Considered a little more money than desired. It's a bear to change pumps in Cherokees but it empty gas from tank and you don't have hitch and skid plate to remove would be easier. Make sure to check fill and vent tubes while at it. OEM Goodness - the only way for electromechanical Jeep parts.
I put an Airtex fuel pump in my Jeep. It lasted two years. This Bosch pump assembly is the answer. If you're getting any kind of electromechanical part, get OEM or it will be junk. Costs more? 1997-2001 Jeep XJ direct replacement OEM
I have used "other brand" fuel pump assemblies that read my fuel gauge wrong at 15 gallons instead of my fuel tank 20 gallons and caused reading errors on my fuel gauges. There was no adjustment "switch" 15 to 20 gallon on the cheap fuel pumps to fix this. With this Bosch 67658 fuel pump, the gauge reads the Jeep XJ fuel tank right at 20 gallons where it should. It is quality. Don't go cheap on a fuel pump with the other cheap models that can leave you stranded over saving a few dollars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

1997-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ Bosch Fuel pump
I purchased a Airtex fuel pump from the local parts house store it lasted a little over a year. Just outside of the warranty. All I seen are good reviews of the Bosch fuel pump replacement for the 1997-2001 XJ. That is why I purchased the Bosch fuel pump. Its been a few weeks now installed and the Jeep running like new again. The fuel pump is also much more quite then the other unit I had in the there before.
