  • took some creativity to get them to fit

I put these on my 1960 Cadillac ("guaranteed fit"), and once on, they seem to work fine. My quality concern is due to issues wit the mounting studs on the rear shocks. Fronts went on with no problem. The rears took some creative effort and engineering because 1) the top stud is too short for this (and perhaps other) applications, and 2) one of the top studs had a blob of extra metal on it that made it impossible to screw the attaching nut on. So I had to remove the extraneous metal and clean up the threads with the appropriate die, and also had to re-use one of the old rubber grommets, which were fortunately in good shape. Although I suppose you could achieve the same result by slicing a small amount of height off the replacement grommet, to enable enough of the stud to protrude to get the nut on.
