These won't fix suspension problems, no shock will. Any new shock is going to ride better than a damaged or worn out one.
What these will do is improve the ride quality over twin tube shocks. The ride is most noticeably improved over rougher roads. If the roads where you drive are all smooth, these aren't going to make a noticeable difference, but if the roads are rough and uneven, these shocks are a definite upgrade.
Being montube, they have a smaller outside diameter of many twin tube shocks, but larger pistons and better valving. It may sound counterintuitive, but monotube shocks are an upgrade from twin tube shocks. It all comes down to the design, just do a little research on the two designs and it becomes clear.
One feature I like on these over most shocks, is they use two non locking nuts, one as a jamb nut. What that means is a single lock nut is not used, which makes things easier to assemble or disassemble because the regular nuts don't have resistance all the way like a lock nut would. It will also make a difference for anyone who wants to use polyurethane top bushings from another manufacturer that may be a little different thickness than the rubber KYB bushings.
