Based on the Walt Disney feature film directed by Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland for Wii follows the story of 19-year-old Alice, who returns down the rabbit hole to the magical land she visited as a child but has since forgotten. The action-adventure game features exploration and light combat, with an RPG-like system that allows Alice to learn new fighting moves and gain additional power and abilities as she conquers challenges and progresses through the story. In some levels, gamers can also play as Alice's Wonderland allies, including the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, and others, making use of each character's distinct abilities in combat or exploration. As in the original Lewis Carroll stories, things are seldom what they first appear to be in Wonderland, and some of the game's most challenging puzzles involve optical illusions and other tricky visuals. As in the movie, the story proceeds through hazardous conflicts against the Red Queen's sniveling minions, and culminates in a snicker-snacking battle with the biting, catching Jabberwock.
I loved it! I am not a gamer I am a stay at home mom but I love Alice in wonderland so my hobby got me this game for our Wii system I finished it in 2 days I kid you not right after having my wisdom teeth pulled its awesome with the story line and it gives you help throughout the game when I had a game for the xbox yes it been that long lol I would have to go online for help all the time but this game hints and help pop up on screen for you its great it only pops up if you keep doing something wrong oh and the xbox game took my years to complete I would put it away and forget about it but this Alice in wonderland was so fun I wanted to keep playing it my 3 yr old even enjoyed watching me cheering me she was mostly excited to watch wonderland but I love that in the game you get to play different characters and they all complement eachother in some way and you have to use certain characters for certain reasons. I am probably not helping but this game was a lot of fun easy to figure out and play I recommend it my husband even wants to play sometimeRead full review
Fun game for fans of the Tim Burton movie. The game hits the same major beats of the movie but is also slightly different, so it keeps you curious on what is going to happen next. You can play as several different characters with different abilities to help Alice in her journey. It’s not too hard, but not super easy either. Just right for a fun trip down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland.
I bought this game for myself and my kiddos went nuts over it and beat the game in a few wks with lots of help from youtube video's the art was what attracted me to the movie the art in the game does not compare to the art in the movie.....They had fun and enjoyed the game and still do they are ages 4 and 9 it is difficult for them... if you don't have the time to help younger children play the game it might be better to pick another game
i had hoped the game would of had more playing hours it does
follow the movie well and you can play ur favorite character in the movie accept alice which who doesn't want to play alice! The Mad hatter is my next pick ........i hope u enjoy
Loved the movie so had to get the game, was not disappointed. Well worth the money and if you like puzzle solving then this game will get you to think. Can be a little hard in places to get to next scene but totally hours worth of fun. Out of our wii games this is one we always want to play. It wouldn't be fun if it was all easy so enjoy you won't be let down.
