A good read!
The Help is a great book. What a good storyteller the author is! And if you've seen the movie you will hear the characters speaking as you read it. I read it out loud to the person I care for and they love it too.Author does such a good job making all the characters so 3 dimensional. I remember reading it took the author a long time to find a literary agent to represent this book. I'm sure glad she didn't give up because it is a real part in our social history and it is good to read it. A great thought provoking novel

The book was a summer reading assignment for my son. I started to read it while he was finishing his other assigned book. The Help was so good that once my son started reading it, I would wait for my chance to have it when he put it down.
