Ceramic is the ONLY way to go on these pads
I was having trouble with my buick stopping after long freeway hauls and not touching the brakes. I researched everyone for info about poor stopping distances with wet brake pads and NOTHING.....except for one tiny motorcycle notation that ceramic helped when wet. I bought these ceramic pads and replaced the long wearing semi metallic pads which had tons of wear left and slapped on the ceramics.... what a huge difference. I don't ride brakes much and when those semi's got wet they took some cast iron nerve to get you stopped. Once dry they were fine....but who cares if they wear or not, the ceramics just do a far better job, wet or dry. Maybe they won't wear as long but who cares...if they stop putting gray hair on your head in the rain. Changing out pads is a snap....and the cost is pretty cheap really. I highly recommend the ceramic pads and won't use anything else anymore....goodbye semi metallic jobs forever.
