Poor Replacement Mirror from Dorman
There is a reason this mirror was cheaper than others - don’t just think that if Dorman made it, it must be of good quality (as I did). This is not a direct bolt on replacement for your original and it is made less durable - I’m not sure how long it’ll last before I have to replace it again. Ok, the 3 mounting studs are not the same size as original and they did NOT include mounting nuts - so you’ll have to go buy nuts or find some? When looking into the mounting bracket, it is flimsy and made from stamped metal pieces. Doesn’t look durable. Without new mounting nuts available and already having the old mirror off, I ended up thinking I’d just change out the mounting studs. Won’t work! So, I had to change out the entire mounting bracket from the mirror arm. Since the original arm had some notches cut into them, I had to duplicate them to get original mount bracket to fit. Once that was all done, I finally had a superior mount bracket w correct mount studs and nuts. So, spend a little more and get a better mirror or plan to spend more to find mounting nuts (not sure what size). Overall though, this mirror is not made as durable as your original, so don’t buy it.
