Third in the Love Story series from Christopher Moore, Bite Me brings to conclusion the story of the vampires of San Francisco, the Animals, Rivera and Cavuto, Chet, The Emperor of San Francisco and his "men" (Lazarus and Bummer) -- all told in mostly first person by Abigail Von Normal (aka Allison) -- and, well, you'll just have to read about the rest. If you can, read Bloodsucking Fiends first, then You Suck, then Bite Me. Still, they're each a good, fun read on their own.

This completes Moore's semi-comic Vampire trilogy. It's perhaps the weakest of the 3 books but it's okay. Moore does get off some good lines and he keeps the action moving in the book. The whole series was written in such a way as to make it easy to convert it into a movie, which may have been his plan all along. Too bad it'll probably never happen and the whole vampire fad is kind of played out.
Somehow Christopher Moore never disappoints with his novels. This book is no exception as it is funny and just as great as its predecessors. To this date I still believe that Fool, his previous novel, is Mr. Moore's most solid and best effort to date. Nonetheless, fans should rejoice and BUY this book and read cover to cover as it will satisfy you in every Christopher Moore way.
Third in a series By Mr. Moore the first being Bloodsucking Fiends, followed by You Suck. This writer is so enjoyable to read as his wit flows through the pages like laughter at a party. I have read all 10 of his books and have never been disappointed. If you want an easy FUN read, start with the first of the trilogy and enjoy. I might also recommend "The lust lizard of melancholy cove.
