I learned to type on typewriters in the 70's, and can type over 100 wpm on a good keyboard. So it's important to me to find one that at least fairly mimics the touch and feel of a typewriter. This one fits the bill, at least better than any other I've tried. I can type fast and effortlessly on it, and it feels good to the touch. This is actually my second one; the first one developed problems with certain keys repeating themselves - the "n" especially. However, that is likely the result of my letting things drop into it over a long period of time. It held up well for at least several years. I just ordered the second one and thus far it's perfect.
