LG ruined this otherwise fine player with their firmware........
I had one previously, and threw it away when it locked up and wouldn't play anything. Finding out years later, that one software 542B allows it to perform perfectly playing all disks. Every update from LG after that rendered it useless. If you like to fill your screen. ..... this player has 13 small incremental zoom settings to do it. No current player has that ability. ... Easily one of the best players out there.
For an older model just lacking 3D and thats if you want it. Every other category is covered quitw nicely. Great cd player dvd upconverter and awesome bluray player. I personally have an older receiver so the 7.1 analog outputs are a nice touch not seen too much on the current models.
