Each of the 4 journals features a striking, glossy black cover with a dramatic, yet simple red, black & white image, one for each installment in the Twilight Saga. Throughout each journal are brief quotes subtly printed in gray or red or black. They are printed using a font that gives the appearance of short hand-written notes in a diary. Stephanie Meyer has done it again. Even though these 4 little books are only journals they hold thier own among the Twilight Saga collection. The covers of the journals alone reaches out , grabs ahold of you and makes you want to write. On almost every page, of each individual journal, there is a quote from the book it represents. As you go thru the pages and see the quotes you are compelled to begin your own story. You will feel an overwhelming need to put your own ideas, dreams, and fantasies down on paper. When you see your own writing on the same pages as hers you realize that your dreams are just as important to you as Stephenie are to her. Writing in these books will inspire you and make you realize that there is always the chance your story , idea , dreams , or fantasy could be the next best thing and win the hearts of millions just as Stephenies did.Read full review
I did a literature project in my college class on J.K. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer some years ago; before she became a literature sensation. Both of them inspired me to write more. I've followed both of them throughout the years so when I saw this item in the stores, I knew I had to search on Ebay for it. It's such a great product; it allows me such freedom to write and draw when I need/want to. I like the quotes that Stephenie has in each of them and the letter she wrote at the beginning of each book. It gives me the confidence to write more when I read it.
Great quality, pages wonderful. Bought this item its wonderful to give as gifts, also great to write poems or journal/diary. I like this item, there is nothing I dislike about this item. Love it comes with a keepsake tin to keep them all the journals in. I would recommend this item 9 years old and older.
I bought 2 sets of the journals for my daughter, she loves them. The books are hard covered and the tin has a nice twilight theme. The color scheme black,red,& white looks great and they are a great item for a teenage twilight fan. I recommend buying 2. The tin is wrapped in a plastic and to preserve it means to never see the journals, buying 2 sets allows you to use one and save one. I liked them, my daughter loves them. Great item!
