When I was growing up in the 1960's my friends and I would often regurgetate the things we heard on Saturday morning cartoons...mostly reruns of 1940's Looney Tunes. There were many references to Seabiscuit. We knew he was a horse; that's all. This picture told the amazing story and put all those loose pieces together. The movie had many moving images(like Jeff Bridges crying, rocking and holding the body of his boy shortly after he died). I was pleased to know Toby McGuire not only starred but also was executive producer of this fantastic piece of film. Too bad more people didn't crowd into the theater to see it.
Not too many horses capture the heart of a nation like the "Biscuit" did. I have horses and enjoy movies about them that demonstrate how an underdog can beat the likes of a elite thoroughbred horse like War Admiral.

This is just a wonderful movie about Seabiscuit, the legendary horse, and its owner, trainer, and jockey. Sure to satisfy all sports fans. And the color in the regular dvd or the blu-ray disk is magnificent. Have lots of fun watching this one....
ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES I HAVE SEEN. AND I DONT BUY MOVIES UNLESS THEY ARE WORTH WATCHING OVER SEVERAL TIMES.
Good movie!
