This is an excellent game to formulate meal plans and recipes with a vast array of ingredients and special diets. It allows you to exclude ingredients or provide preferences for your choice of ingredients. What makes this rating "Good" instead of "Excellent" is the actual virtual cooking. Young children have have expressed difficulty in the ability to prepare the foods. The cooking models don't actually demonstrate how to cut, cook, and prepare the dishes. Certain steps are assumed instead of demonstrated, and are not initially clear on how to carry out some of the instructions. Overall, it's a great addition for any aspiring chef or experienced chef. Unique ingredients, a virtual full-service kitchen, and unique menu choices still give this DS addition a THUMBS UP!
My kids are really enjoying this game. It is realistic enough for an adult to use, yet fun and creative enough to keep my kids entertained. Also shows healthy recipes and inspired them to try new food combinations. Pretty good game!
Healthy cooking is the trend for america to battle against obesity. This is a great way to start the way to a healthy life style I am looking forward to a more healthy life style. As we age a healthy eating life is the key to a long life.
