Easy
This is designed for ease of use. Bowls are stamped from one sheet rather than cut out which makes cleaning the entire cooktop easier. Entire two-burner cartridge lifts out from the range for clean up in the kitchen sink if desired.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Replacement works but quality is lower than original.
This replacement part is of much cheaper quality than the original it replaced. The original stainless steel had a higher nickel content, and was brushed stainless. This appears to be a cheap stamped part made of lower grade polished stainless steel. The lip to lift the insert out of the stovetop is much more pronounced(obvious) and detracts from the appearance of the stovetop. Functionally, it's fine, although the metal in the bottom of the pan is thinner than the original as well. At ~$200, it's a lot of money for a cheap stamped part like this one. Unfortunately, short of completely rebuilding the original which was involved in a fire, other than finding one used in good shape, this is the likely only alternative. .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Functions well but not aesthetic.
The heating unit works fine, but the quality of the stainless surface is useless. After putting a griddle on two burners, the stainless burnt and we are unable to clean the surface. It looks as bad after one griddle use as the old one did after 30 years of use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sorta torn
The cartridge is beautiful and works fine. The only issue I have is that it csme a bit warped so it doesn’t fit tight against the stove. I am hoping it comes out of it but at this point I am doubtful. It was packed very well and very tight in box as it should be. Works in a 40 year old stove
