Great Value at this Price!
I am surprised at how well this knife is constructed. Everything fits together and operates smoothly and the G10 is milled with the edges rounded to a perfect fit. This type of machining brings out a handsome pattern in the G10 that adds to it's appeal. The clip point blade felt slightly gritty in the pivot but a drop of knife oil completely removed it. I was surprised to find that both blade edges were ground to a 60° inclusive angle {30° on each side of the blade}. That is quite a lot for a slipjoint pocket knife. It took some time but I was able to reprofile them to 25° and get them reasonably sharp. I am very pleased with this knife. It compares in quality with many higher priced jack knives. Poor fit and finish
Materials seem to be decent, but the breaking point on this knife is the fit and finish. Metal portions are tight, but decorative pieces are poorly executed, with chips, gaps, and poorly crafted contours. Very odd, as other Rough Riders are very well crafted. This one is amateur hour. Great knife of a interesting model
There is a slight blade rub on the main blade against the side of the handle, nothing critical and it closes properly. The springs feel a little weaker than other models due to the bow shape. Great shape, very ergonomic, feels confortable in the hand, the blades are broad and take a good edge. The red liners add a great contrast with the black of the handles. The bead is of solid steel. Especially for the price a great knife.

Value priced, but good quality
Fit and finish, walk and talk, are comparable to most made in the US pocketknives. The high carbon seems to hold an edge well and sharpens easily, although I don't know what the chemical makeup is. It seems like maybe 1095, but I haven't gotten a reply back from the factory on that spec. The titanium coating doesn't bother me, although I have seen some people on forums complain about it. Good utility knife!
Not a bad knife for the money. Titanium coated, high carbon steel blades. Knife has a great weight and feel to it. The G-10 scales are tough and durable. This is a great all around pocket knife. I bought one for myself and two as gifts! Rough Rider knives has good quality stainless with the right amount of carbon to help them keep a good edge. Great knife for the $
