Dog used to pull like a mule, now she don’t!
I have a 100 pound dog and it pulled so bad that nobody in the house could walk it except for me. And it was a struggle even for me. I had to keep an eye on her at all times because is she took out after a squirrel or something and I wasn’t prepared, she would either break free or throw my shoulder out. I did some research and came across this collar and it had some good reviews, so I got one. My dog stopped pulling INSTANTLY!!! No joke!! She was like, “What the heck???”, and has never pulled since! She’ll sort of pull, but nothing at all like before. Now my 90 pound 10 year old walks her easily. This collar worked so good, I got another one for my much smaller Australian Shepard, and now she don’t pull anymore either. The collar seems well made and it’s easy to adjust. I think I’ll eventually wear them out, but as soon as I notice wear, I’m getting replacements. Best 20 dollars I ever spent!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ineffective
Doesn’t work as well as I thought it would. My dog is very large and still pulls very hard, making it hard for him to breathe. I stop periodically and make him sit to allow him to breathe and feel the slack, but the very second I tell him to heel, he immediately begins pulling again. Don’t know if it’s just going to take some time or if this collar will always be ineffective. It may work for some dogs but not working for mine as of yet. Been using over 5 years best control etc. I use every time I walk my dogs
I have been using this collar for many, many, many, years. I am dog and cat rescue. I mostly rescue Pitbulls which are from my decades of working with Pitbulls they are the most abused dogs, the most lied about in the media...about the dog collar I have read people say this dog collar could not hold a 10 lbs dog. I can tell you I have 80- 100 lbs powerful Pitbulls and this collar is the best. Walks are such a pleasure now.
This is a great product , it helps me and my dog to communicate a lot better . Having struggled with pulling when I took my dog for walks, I put on the collar which is easy to adjust, within a minute or two he was happily walking beside me. I watched a couple of videos before hand to see how it was used. The result is amazing , now walking with my dog is a sheer pleasure. The best money I've ever spent . Testing out the Starmark Collar
It seems to be well built and the add a link feature makes it easy to size. Not sure if it is helping with controlling my reactive dog on walks yet. as a safety feature I attach a chain from the collar to his harness just in case, but so far it seems to be strong enough and fit right for my 80lb strong willed dog.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great collar. Easy to put on and take off. Quiet, unlike metal pinch collars. There is enough contact to gently control and train without harm. I like the design and the quality of materials. The nylon tether seems inadequate but has held up so far. This collar has a better physical appearance than most training collars, so it does not draw negative attention or create the appearance of aggression like some collars do. The Starmark Training Collar is a humane alternative to the metal "spiked" collar that I feel corrects my dog without causing her discomfort. The material is pretty much indestructible and is very easy to clean when necessary. Works as advertised. Great value for the money. It isn't as severe as a prong collar, but much easier to get on and off. I use it daily on my year old, 100lb Cane Corso.
