The items both are of good quality. However, the strap itself seemed to bother me so I stopped using it after the first night. The mouthpiece is awesome - Took me two nights to get used to it, but now I use it even without the strap. I have now totally discontinued use of my CPAP machine (after 3 years nightly use). I sleep much better now. I recommend not buying the chin strap and just using the mouthpiece. Please note that this mouthpiece is much better than the standard one you get that you have to mold to your teeth. This one already fits right out of the box. It is shaped in such a way as to open and position your jaw forward which helps with TMJ problems. It takes about an hour for the correct bite to return once waking up - but the benefits outweigh that issue. I purchased this particular mouthpiece after researching the "Moses Appliance". I have only been using these two products for about two weeks: I feel that I under did the mouth piece and should re-mold so it will fit better. I can only sleep with that in for an hour or so before I wake up and take it out. The only reason I under boiled the mouth piece is because I read several reviews that said they over boiled the mouth piece and it was uncomfortable and did not work properly. The sling takes a little getting used to because of the pressure on your forehead. Not that it hurts or is uncomfortable or anything, it is just that you spend your whole life with no pressure on your forehead, then one day there is pressure on your forehead, you tend to notice and takes a little getting used to. I highly recommend both of these products and I feel like my sleep is improving every night and I am more rested through out the day. Good luck and happy z's everybody. Bought this item hoping it would be the end to my snoring however the item is not realistic because it is very bulky. The piece that go on the outside of your teeth pushes your lips out very far which ends up causing you to droll. The inside rubs your gums and makes it feel like it is going to cause a mouth ulcer. I tried it 2 nights hoping I would be able to get use to it but that was not the case. As for the head band after trying together and realizing the mouth piece didn't feel good or work I tired the head piece separate. This product does not work for me, the mouthpiece is loos and does not keep my mouth closed, i can not tell witch way is up or down, the lower jaw that should be extended, is not and it did not have any instructions. I just can't believe that there's anyone out there that can actually sleep with this stuff in/on. Terrible. The actual operation of the devices is so insignificant that even if you do manage to keep them in you will struggle to see the difference. Either you are a bad or moderate snorer and this won't help, or a mild snorer and should try something else... loose a little weight; life style changes and so on.

It might work for you. I was initially excited but its uncomfortable at first to wear. Once i got used to it i actually fell asleep but then my wife told me i snored right through the mouth piece. The strap slides off of the head too easily and if you put your ears in the ear slots it is very uncomfortable causing pressure around the ears and the hole strap its self when you're laying on your side it causes too much pressure on the side of the head. It doesn't matter how watch you change tightness or looseness this is completely uncomfortable to be able to sleep. The mouth guard forget it I just can't sleep with anything like that in my mouth.
