Very versatile
A great, versatile device. Only drawback is the design of the movable contacts that have to engage with and support the battery. I use it for charging 14500 lithium ion batteries - the same size as AA. Placing the batteries between the contacts and keeping them there so they charge is a bit of a balancing act. Awkward fitting. The batteries do not feel secure in this unit. Both ends have outward tabs (unlike other chargers that have an inward dimple on the positive end). So the batteries are really hard to get both sides to make contact. If you just plop them in, they don't make contact and do not charge. When they do make contact, they are basically hovering and the slightest touch makes them fall out of place. Weird design. This design might work for batteries that are flat on both ends. None of my NiMH or LIon are like that, though. I won't be using this charger much. Update: After charging a few Lion batteries in this, I've noticed the charger stops at 4.0V. This is a little below full charge. My other chargers take them to 4.2V, which is what they are supposed to do.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A very good, inexpensive charger!
This charger has versatility built in. It can charge a wide variety of battery types. It is very easy to use in the plug-in mode. Directions are poor as they refer to other modes and adjustments, but those instructions are not provided. Still, this unit is a good buy for the money. This is my 2nd purchase of one of these
I have used several other battery chargers some the light changes color when they are charged others that do not. When I received my first of this item I put every single battery I had including double a triple A and 18740 batteries. I had tried to use for of the batteries previous to receiving this charger and I thought they were charged but they weren't. After charging every single battery I had on this charger my batteries are now at full capacity and every single one of them works. I tested them after they charged. One of the biggest pluses is that it does not take long to charge batteries no matter what battery you put on it. I had a few that were completely dead and they charged within the hour. Very good charger
Charges fast, has 4 ports. Read the directions to charge your batteries faster if desired. I charge vape batteries, 3.6v/3.7v with no problems. I can set it to charge at 1.5A if I want, again read the directions, I would recommend this for anyone that wants to change vape batteries, I have not tested any other batteries, but will do in the near future. Great no nonsense charger.
The nightcore i4 charger is a no nonsense charger. Great for charging vape batteries of all sizes. The one thing I did learn about this charger is that when you store it in say a bookbag if you leave the plug in it may break. Buying them off of ebay saves you almost half the cost. In vape shops they generally run 30 or over whereas on ebay I have purchased three at various times and they were all under 20. Great charger!
So I got this charger bc I got the 20700 batteries for my mod. It fits them perfectly! I was kinda scared they wouldn't fit, but they do. It's snug, but it fits.. best part is, it charged the batteries in about 2-3 hours!!! Beats my old charger by about 4 hours!! Haha My older charger it took about 6 hours to charge ONE battery!! NiteCore new i4 charger
I've tried several different types and sizes of batteries in the few weeks I've had it. It seems to work perfectly on all of them, better than the other 3 very good but less expensive chargers I have. It seems to be more accurate. if you really want to get the best from this charger, read the manual! It has very good tips on how to get the best charging from this device. Best charger I've owned
Very nice smart charger. Pros, charges faster than others I've used, balanced charging, overcharged protection, realizes when you have only one battery in and switches to 1.5amp charging no matter what slot.
