Attractive easy to operate
I ordered two of these gates in anticipation of my grandchildren visiting me for the first time. I looked for a gate that was attractive and easy to move as needed. My top priority was to control a stair case at the top and bottom. This gate met all of these requirements. It is an attractive metal finish. The "lock" is easily controlled with one hand. There are stabilizing brackets the hold the side brackets in place. I used these brackets on the stair way where the consequences of falling are greatest. The gate was fully functional without the brackets when I used it to control a hallway passage. They appear to be sturdy and well constructed. Half a gate
