Nail Necessities
I first bought this product for my father because his short nails were breaking right down at the skin line, and it was really painful for him. The matte finish meant that he could apply it as often as he felt he needed to, and not feel too self-conscious. This and daily 5,000mcg Biotin supplements did the trick! I like it on my own nails, too: It's the best base coat I've ever tried. Just apply one or two coats under your favorite nail strengthener or thickener. NOT THE ORIGINAL NAIL ENVY MATTE FINISH
This product is NOT the Original Nail Envy Nail Strengthener, Matte Finish. The liquid has a yellowish tint to it unlike the original product. Also, I noticed that when handling paper copies it absorbs the color of the ink on the paper and the ends of my fingernails become discolored. OPI Nail Envy is far superior to other products for weak nails that I have tried, including Sally Hansen. An unusual feature is the availability of a matte finish, which I like better than shiny clear polish - it would work well for men, too.
