It has an angled vacuum chamber to avoid spills while in use. This sealer has a vacuum progress bar and a pulse option to remove the last bit of air before sealing. The sealer works on bags up to 11 inches wide with textured lining.

Cover requires a lot of strength to close
Requires a lot of pressure to completely make the cover snap closed. If you are weak or not very heavy you may not be able to close the cover to vacuum seal. My friend bought the identical one and was going to return it, until I told her to put her whole body weight into closing the cover. But now she loves the machine.Maybe this will change in time as the seals get compressed.

Powerful suction and well made!!
I cannot say enough good things about this unit! It out-performs all other brands of vacuum sealers! A vacuum sealer is THE ONE kitchen appliance that pays for itself. I buy just about everything in bulk, portion it into usable amounts, and vacuum seal. You can take advantage of meat and seafood sales, store garden produce, and home made sausage. We hunt and fish, so this unit is indispensable. It's easy to operate. The bags are reusable and even dishwasher safe. (Follow safe food-handling guidelines!)

Great Sealer!
One of the only sealers that reach a true vacuum before sealing. I purchase bulk rolls of bags in 6", 8", and 11" widths, and can seal up just about anything. Works great for packing dry goods for camping, to keep them fresh and dry until needed.
