Very nice except....
Well made and attractive but one problem. Once the water boils, the unit shuts off so you have to stand there and watch it. I bought this because I had an older model that worked great for years. It would shut down if it boiled dry but didn't shut off until you picked up the kettle. That way you could turn it on and attend to other things and come back to boiling water. Unfortunately, this one does not. Other than that shortcoming this is a great unit.

Nice to Look At, But...
unfortunately the mechanism (poorly) designed to lft the lid w the push of your thumb fails and I think it almost impossible for the lay public to Repair. Once it stops opening, you must refill the pot through the spout (!). It does boil water and is attractive to look at.
