This is a great tool, very well made and much needed if you are dealing with photo etched parts on a regular basis. Please read the directions and safety advice. I would strongly recommend eye protection. When cutting very thin metal, pieces tend to fly away. Very, very small pieces of metal that could easily end up in your eye. Also, try and keep your working area small and contained because again these small pieces of brass can attach to clothes and even your fingers with you realizing it. Just be careful. This is a great tool.

Ergonomically pleasing, The bright blue handles are comfy to grip and easy to find, even on the messiest work bench (MINE!) Longer shears make of easy removal of unwanted details with exacting control. These suppliment the ancient Zuron p/e cutters I've had for many moons. They were a might long in the tooth for the precise trimming I require for my TLAR Models kit parts. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!!!

Xuron products are a necessity for scale modelling. This one should be restricted to removal of photo etched components. Perfect for that use but would be dulled in repeated others uses.

Nice tool- would recommend anyone who works with photo-etched parts, detailing to have this in the toolbox. Not entertaining- a necessary tool for working with small metal detailing!
