Hard to Tell
Operation is tricky - it's hard to tell when the pellet is seated. I seated 2 pellets rather than one the first time tried it. From then on I was being careful not to have that happen again, so the process was slow. I imagine with practice I could "get the hang of it". But, frankly, for now I prefer just using my fingers to seat pellets. AND it is a convenient way to carry pellets rather than having them wonder around in your pocket. Old fingers

Air Venturi pellet pen
Thing works slick with a break barrel. Some people have expressed issues double loading or spitting out extra pellets after they load. You don't need to 'click' it that hard. After doing it once, it was easy to prevent. Really glad I decided to try it for myself. Plus it's so cheap! Will not always hold 20 pellets. Gamo Red Fires for example, it will only hold 16. I'd recommend buying more than one!

It works, sort of....
A great concept but it lost a whole lot in the manufacturing process. First off the pen doesn't hold the pellets securely and they tend to fall out. The detent, which I assume is to insure that only one pellet is actually dispensed isn't adequate for the purpose so while one pellet will be loaded into the barrel the next pellet falls out of the pen and either rolls away into oblivion or gets lost in the grass. I've been using it for 10 days now, hoping there was a learning curve and I would eventually get the hang of it.... Nope... the only redeeming feature, the shipping was free. damages pellets
It's a great concept however if your interested in keeping your rifle accurate I suggest NOT using this !! EACH pellet extracted from pen HAS DAMAGE to the SKIRT due to the "holding" feature inside at the tip..I've looked closely at each pellet even under a magnifier which shows significant distortion/Damage to pellet..Using these pen's has proven to make my rifles less accurate !! SO I now have a .022 and .177 used PELLET PEN'S for sale.....

The loader will load more than one pellet, if you push too hard. It takes a delicate push for it to work right. The plunger will fall out easily, if tilted the wrong way.
