Wasn't sure if it was an aerosol spray due to odd top, took over to tub giving it a few pumps to get started. Turns out none aerosol, yet shoots out a creamy purple substance that you need to rub into hair with hands. Beautiful results! After one use of shamp, condition, toning mask deep condition & leave in treat, hair no longer looks like dead rat.
