I am a huge Neil Young fan. I like his easy relaxed music as well as his hard driving riffs. Live At Massey Hall is an acoustic collection from his early solo years and it is terrific. He also adds some dialogue to the recording which just makes you want to kick back and enjoy his talent. I would highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates, late 60s early 70s rock music. I purchased this CD on Ebay from a very good dealer for a very good price. And the bottom line, I love Neil Young's tunes. Excellent.
From the man who would be listed in the dictionary under perfectionist comes a perfect intimate evening glimpse into an historic concert. To hear the musician who practically invented the grunge sound performing solo acoustically is a joy and a definite learning experience. It IS possible to love AND play both genres and excellently at that. The most fascinating thing is to hear the songs in their infancy BRAND NEW and still being worked out. ( Heart of Gold played on piano for instance) as well as others in a different format AND tuning(Down by the River). Also there are songs not released before and others never heard in this manner on a recording. Another thing I particularly enjoyed is Neils between song patter and introductions. A REAL DELIGHT from start to finish. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! wildcatwilsonRead full review
I love this Cd. One of my favorites. I have almost all of Neils Recordings. This one is not as much like the earlier recordings of Neils music; however, any of his recordings are excellent to me. The song writing to me is excellent. His vocals are outstanding. The words of the song introduce you to the true man. Not as much harmony in the songs like the earlier days with Cosby, Still and Nash, but truly shows his ability to display his volcals. I think he is one of the most talented performers of his era. If you like that this type folk-pop-rock sound of mucic, you will love these recording. There isn't anything that I dislike about the cd.
Music that stops time..can't get enough of it even though I've heard them all a thousand times. Neil reinvents many of the old numbers. They only thing comparable this year is the movie, "Once". Even when I'm not listening the music is in my head and shaping the context of how I view the world. When I play my acoustic I'm trying to mute the notes like he does in "Cowgirl in the Sand". Particularly poignant is the combination of the Harvest numbers "Man needs a Maid" and "Heart of Gold". I admit I'm a Neil fanatic, but it was performances like this that made him famous.. that made him the best..
Great acoustic work in Neil Young's most prolific artistic time period. All the songs he calls "his new work" on this album are old classics now, so its like being there in 1971 to hear his intros and his great music. His voice is crisp and clear on this recording with modern digitization techniques: much improved from the old live albums of that period. As a long time Neil Young fan, this one takes me way back. I'm glad they produced this remastered classic.
Neil Young fans, and perhaps those on the fence, listen to this album! I've loved him since a young girl, and in my opinion, this is his best. I've given it as gifts and all who listen fall in love. And I LOVE that! I recommend this 100%!

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget
Good Tunes!
