The music on this is great, as it was in the movie, of course. But in addition to the period rock classics heard in the film, the soundtrack also includes seven cuts of the movie's dialogue. The ones that are set up as separate tracks may appeal to fans of the movie; maybe they really want to hear all about the "Royale with Cheese," or Samuel L. Jackson reciting Ezekiel 25:17. However, four of the dialogue cuts are attached to the beginning of music tracks, which is just annoying. For example, you have to listen to a couple minutes of "Pumpkin and Honey-Bunny" plotting their robbery before you get to hear "Misirlou" by Dick Dale and His Del-Tones, or all about the Jack Rabbit Slim twist contest, before starting Chuck Berry's "You Never Can Tell." And since they're literally part of the same track, there's no convenient way to remove these dialogue cues from the music before downloading the tracks onto an iPod or other MP3 player. This is such a quirky and annoying way to have done this, that I can't help but suspect Quentin Tarantino had a something to do with it, rather than just handing off the soundtrack planning to others.Read full review
I admit that the 'last time I saw this movie "Pulp Fiction" was a long time ago ... but the genre Tarantino is always very unique, brilliant, especially his own! The purchase of the CD took place in a completely random: a few weeks ago, while I was driving with some friends for "destination" beach, I feel that the stereo speakers come out these extraordinary pieces! I ask for some information and tell me that CDs are the original soundtracks of the film, which does not remember! No sooner said than done: after just two days I wanted this cd! Once arrived and heard (in the car because I could not hear it in full), did not contradict my expectations ... A very nice cd! The trademark has always Quentin Tarantino movie Greetings from 'Italy ... LukeRead full review
I admit I bought this CD because I love the movie, and the soundtrack adds so much to it (for me), and I always think Tarantino movies have the coolest soundtracks. Listening to it at home, without the movie, is quite a different experience. I wasn't crazy about the fact that it includes snippets of dialogue in several places. Overall, if you like the songs, you'll like the songs (I still like this OK)-- this would make excellent background party music, where you're not necessarily paying attention to it, but as far as being something to actively listen to, well, it loses a lot without the movie.
A great bargain for a used CD that sounds and plays as well as a brand new one. CD is in great shape and couldn't be better than a new one. Taken care of very well, which is a high factor in purchases of used products. I feel very good about my purchase as one who is usually wary of used products of this particular type.
I loved the real mental contact delivered with passion found destructive but soon turned around to humility within the aggressors. Also an example that bad boys can change if they want to (the reasonI bought the CD. I did not like the portrayal of women as followers and being only mimickers/weak. After the crude opening, the remaining arrangements were easy, relaxing and moved the heart.I like message music such as this.
