WIRING DESIGN PROBLEM CORRECTED BY KOHLER; LIGHT OUTPUT THE BEST
Kohler has fixed the problem of the faulty connection in the door that binds and splits. I researched many lighted medicine chests and this is one of the top mirrors for lumen strength. Many of the mirrors on the market have very low output...making the light merely a night light.. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK LUMEN OUTPUT ON ANY MIRROR YOU BUY My mother applies her makeup in the bathroom and needed strong light. The mirror was placed on a dimmer and she can adjust it as she needs. Also has the sliding magnifying mirror too. If you purchase this mirror, make sure the item code includes "TL". That is the designation, per Kohler, that indicates the adjusted wiring. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Kohler discussing the wiring issue.
