This timer works fine as long as it is fairly new. My dishwasher is a Hotpoint model HDA2100H15DBB that was installed new January 2016. The timer and drain solenoid were replaced under warranty the first year. They have been replaced twice in 2017. When the cheap little gears in the timer drive motor start slipping, the timer stops and will not advance. One of the difficult places for the timer to move past is when the drain valve solenoid is activated. When the drain valve solenoid has been activated too long, it overheats and burns out. Until the drive motors for this timer are made out of a harder material, such as brass, these timers will continue to cause service issues on a regular basis.

Looked just like the original. Goes in easily once you figure out how to take it out. Worked great.

As of today I am happy with the timer. We will see how long it lasts.
