The Intel T7500 (2.2GHZ, 4MB L2 Cache, 800MHZ FSB) is a solid and reliable mobile processor that is well suited to many older laptop computers. I use them in HP Dv6000 series laptops. If installed with a good cooling solution, they last indefinitely and perform well. They are inexpensive now, and readily available.
