Solid, reliable, loud
Great PA system for the money. Loud, crisp, clear sound. Easy to see knobs in the dark. Bluetooth connection makes it easy to play backing tracks from the phone. Easier to clip on and.clip off the mixer and the storage shelf. Fairly light too. I had an older , used Yamaha Stagepas 500 series which I used for years. I like this series. Decent system for small to medium venues
Since I was upgrading from a StagePas 300 (half the power) it is giving the extra power that I needed so I didn't have to turn up the old to full volume and still not cut it. And the speakers can handle the low notes of a synthesizer with the new one without risk of damage. I added a plug in to a bass amp with subwoofer output and that helps to balance it even more. My only pickiness is that it is not as crystal clear as I would like (a bit of distortion but I don't expect any of these lesser priced systems, in general, to perform like the systems of the old days that had monster speaker systems and powerful amps with advanced mixers and EQ.
