  • Seems to work fine!

Seems to be working fine. A couple of days after I started using it the electric did go off and immediately the battery backup took over. I noticed that it beeps when it does. The only thing that it doesn't have that a lot of other surge protectors do have are the little slide covers that you can close the outlets with when they're not being used. However, you can easily purchase those little plastic inserts for them almost anywhere if that's a problem. Although I've only had it a couple of weeks so I can't speak beyond that, as it is now I'd buy it again if the need came up.

  • Good basic UPS

This unit is good for light/household use. I use mine for my cable modem to be sure short power losses doesn't knock down our network. My only complaint is kind of 'chicken and egg.' Too many devices 'brick' the outlet plug and prevent usage of the adjacent plug as well. Smart plugs also cause this problem. If you have a lot of devices with over-sized plugs, reduce the number of usable plugs by 1/2 at least. This is not limited to this unit, but shared by it. The company that solves this (similar to a 'squid' style surge protector) will be rewarded with a lot more sales!

  • Great little UPS

Works great. Has 4 surge and battery supported outlets plus 4 surge only protected outlets. Simple to use for those small devices that need protection and not much larger than a standard "protected" power bar.. My wife's iMac and its peripherals needed protection since I needed the large UPS they were on for larger devices. The new UPS is rated for 240 watts, which more than required by the iMac and its peripherals while the old 1,500 watt UPS that I replaced was very bulky, (being almost the same size as my Mac Pro tower. which is also on a 1,500 watt UPS because of the large power draw of the larger Mac and its plethora of peripheral devices. I needed the 1.500 watt capacity UPS for my 3-D printer and a battery charger that require more than 500 watts combined. The $49 price for the new unit was a bargain compared to buying another 1,500 watt unit at more than $200 and other than a fancy readout and larger capacity, the new unit does everything the old did.

  • Great APU

Not just a backup power supply; also a surge protector. All 8 outlets surge protected, and 4 backed up, make it very nice and convenient. Very good product for the price. Power failures no longer worry me.

  • Great Value

I had a HUGE old dinosaur of a UPS that weighed about 50 pounds with very expensive batteries to replace. This handy light unit weighs less than half, and the whole unit costs less than ONE of the batteries for my old unit. A former employer had several of these at our office and they performed just fine. This is a great value.

  • the title covers all the aspects of features of the device

So far, this surge protector has worked very well. Well identified designated outlets for surge protection, power outage, or both. It has solved my main problem; power surges and short power outages

The perfect unit for my router. Has plenty of outlets, for both surge and backup power. had convenient slots for wall mounting. I also like the flat, angled power cord plug.

Very glad I perched this device. We have had three power outages in the last couple of weeks. Computer has been working fine. Well worth having pice of mind.

  • Reasonable for the price, battery degrades steadily

This is my second purchase of the same model. The first one worked well enough, though the amount of current it could supply decreased steadily over the 3 years I had it. At this point (3 years later), the first device can only supply about 50% of the rated current.

  • CyberPower is a quality brand you can trust.

I've only had it in place for a week, but so far so good. I use it to backup the water softener settings in memory in case the power goes off, which it does often with ComEd. Power went off in a recent storm and the device seamlessly took over and backed up as needed.
