Nice tool.
I bought this to complement my Li-On 20v. Dewalt tool collection . It works just fine, no cords to drag around , got enough power for cutting & grinding . I'll be using it just about every day at work , used it today & I love it .The only thing everyone should know is,they eat batteries fast! You'd be smart to have @ least 4ah batteries( more than one) for bigger jobs ,2ah batteries will only last a few minutes. Other than that it's a great tool , I got a good tool at a good price , free/ fast shipping ( 3 days from ordering to my door ) You can't beat that ! I will be visiting this store again . This thing is awesome
Exceeded my expectations of what a cordless grinder would do. It spins slower than corded but still chews through the metal like butter. I tested the dewalt grinding disc it came with and it grinded away welds as good as my corded 7 amp grinder. Also tested with a cutting disc and it went through thick exhaust pipe like butter. It's a Dewalt. Arrived in gray cardboard, contains the grinder, a side handle, a DCB205 5Ah battery, a 120v charger with wall mount option, Dewalt grinding disk and a large hex key. Well balanced and cuts great.
Bought this saw to cut vinyl shake siding safely with just a cut off wheel as recommended by the siding manufacturer. The tool works very well for this purpose but it is a real power hog. I needed to keep three 2.0 amp hour batteries charging constantly to stay ahead of myself cutting the siding. I suggest if you plan to use this tool regularly that you upgrade to the 3.0 or even the 4.0 amp hour 20V batteries. Cuts great though and very easy to handle.
