Does its job fine, but check the orientation when attaching
Does its job fine, meaning that with this you can get Famicom games to run on a NES console (assuming that the console doesn't have region locking, or the locking has been disabled). The only shortcoming is that the Famicom cartridge will fit in both ways in the adapter, so you'll have to make sure yourself that the cartridge is in oriented correctly. The orientation is correct when the bevelled edges are on the same side on the cartridge, adapter and the console. Also, it might not be a good idea to use the adapter tin the condition it originally is, on a frontloader console, because it might be tricky to get the cartridge and adapter out of the console. A some kind of string or lanyard might be a good idea to attach to the adapter for pulling it out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Famicom Cartridge adapter for NES
Very pleased with this product; just remember that it will not fit in an original NES console. Place the Famicom cartridge on the adapter, turn it around so the back faces you when loading into console; the "back" is the equivalent of the front/label side of an NES cart. I am using mine in a RetroN3 and have encountered zero compatibility issues thus far. (A helpful hint; you can use a game genie for carts you're having trouble loading even after cleaning...I use mine for a few NES carts as well)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
