PLEASE READ! I am a CVT and have been helping people with their flea issues and dealing with my own (on and off) for more than a decade. Pet Armor Plus is exactly the same as Frontline Plus, made by a different company. It's no different then medicines made by different pharmaceutical companies. The biggest problem is that people think that they can just put some drops on their dog or cat and all the fleas will magically disappear. That's not how it works. Especially at the start of an infestation. you have to treat every pet in your home, their bedding, your carpets, etc. Sometimes it takes treating your dog with Capstar for a few days (Walmart makes a generic for that too), while you are getting your home treated and applying the drops every 2-3 weeks (yes, its safe). Some people have great success in alternating between frontline (or generic) and advantage (or generic). If you catch the infestation early enough, you'll be set in a few weeks. If not, you will need to have a pro come in and treat your home and your yard. However, this product doesn't promise miracles and it does what it says it will do. If you do nothing else, It's like taking a diet pill and sitting on the couch eating cheeseburgers. This product is waterproof. However, do not bathe your dog 2 days before or 2 days after application. This is because the product is released via your dog's sweat glands and you will be washing away important oils already on the dog's skin. Another quick tip, if your dog is infested and you can't reapply yet or afford Capster, give him a DAWN bath. That's right, Dawn dish soap actually cuts thru the chiton shell of the adult and baby fleas and kills them within about 5 - 15 minutes depending on the intensity. Good Luck!Read full review

I purchased this item in hopes of getting some ticks under control for my Terrier. We live in Phoenix and as soon as it heats up the ticks are insane. I am giving it two stars because it does work on flea control and prevention, but absolutely failed with Ticks. It does not kill them, does not keep them from attaching, and does not stop them from feeding. Though it did make my poor dog extremely sick for 3 days after application. She was throwing up and had bad diarrhea, even having accidents in her crate because she couldn't hold it at all. She has never once went in her crate. I was very close to taking her to the vet. The only reason I didn't was because she was still drinking water. She did not want food as much though. Just beware. We were desperate trying to find something that works on ticks. This did not, and made our dog sick. So we are still searching for some type of solution. I know most people get the drops for fleas, and yes, it does seem to be working for those. This review is for people who are trying to find a TICK medicine that works to kill and prevent tick infestations. Hope this helps.Read full review

This product protects my dog with no problems. It seeps completely into his skin within a matter of hours. He has never had fleas, ticks, or lice. I live in Wisconsin, which has a lot of problems with ticks. I have many trees and brush on my property. Despite my dog constantly wandering into them, he has never picked up anything. I definitely recommend this product.

Bought PetArmor Plus as a substitute for more expensive pet protectants. Within 24 hours, I noticed impaired ticks fall off my dog and have not seen any fleas or ticks on her in the weeks that have passed. Highly recommended product. No need to pay more for the expensive brands.

It does a good job of keeping my dog flea free. The product is in a squeeze tube and is easy to apply.

This is the 2nd time I bought this brand. The first time it seemed to work very good but this time it doesn't seem effective at all. I put this on both of my small dogs about 2 weeks ago and I'm still finding ticks on the them. I've cleaned all of their bedding and check them daily, but I'm still finding at least 1 tick on them per day.

I have 5 cats ranging in size and weight. They are indoor cats, yet I still treat for fleas. My largest cat weighs 18 pounds and the product did not work at all on him. My 15 pound cat also still has fleas on him 2 weeks after treatment. It says for cats over 1.5 pounds but does not seem to work on larger cats.

I used to get this at Walmart but now it $35 even at Walmart so it's a great deal. It has all the same ingredients as front line. Works for all my dogs. Love this product

Since buying this, I've read that Advantix II is much more effective for flea control on dogs, even though this had the same ingredients as Frontline Plus. Perhaps that's why they now make a Frontline Gold, but it's only available through a vet (of course, right?) This did nothing for my dog. He was not bathed near application, or after, so that wasn't an issue. However, if I had sprinkled some water on him, it would have been just as effective.
