Smart Remote Key Shell Case Fob replacement
My purchase of the device was an alternative to buying a used smart remote key shell with the Toyota insignia on it. However the product works just as well, and does everything that the Toyota case does. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Doesn’t fit the OEM microchip, so it defeats the purpose of the shell
I bought this replacement Toyota Avalon key fob shell after my original Toyota OEM key fob case broke when it fell on concrete. Thankfully, the microchip inside was working and I was excited to put in the new case. Unfortunately, the case is too small and won’t close when you put in the microchip, which completely defeats the purpose of buying the case.

Not bad
It was easy to transfer the inner workings of my old key into this case. The only criticism I have is that the spare metal key that fits inside is a little too thin to engage with the release switch properly. I was able to make it fit a little better with som judiciously applied scotch tape but I would have preferred if it stayed in place by itself.

very cheap material. Works in a pinch, but mine for example, the manual key pops up with a bit of pressure. But besides that, is just like the original. better than nothing.
