Great Product To Quickly Start Your Fires!
I've been using these firestarters in our fireplace with insert for many years now. One starter works great with just a few pieces of kindling and a split log on top. Fire always starts right up. I also like that they're made in eastern WA state across the mountains from where we live...and that (last I looked) it was a company owned by women. You go, girls!

HARD TO LIGHT.....
It starts your FIRE OK if you hold a HUGE FLAME against them FOREVER...I used a large butane grill lighter since a match only burned my hands holding it there forever to get these to light. I probably can make better ones myself out of pine shavings and wax in cup cake molds...

Started 4" Mesquite logs with no kindling!
I bought these at the last minute for a camping trip. It rained for 3 of the 9 days I was there.. I used 3 Lightning Nuggets each time I started a fire, every time my 4" logs started perfectly! I had other campers coming over to ask me how I started my fire with such ease, I shared several LN's and received many thank you's! The only thing I recommend is having a propane or butane torch to light these, as it made it a snap to do. With 3 nuggets, they seemed to burn for 10-12 minutes, but was hard to tell with all the logs burning as well. I will not go camping without these again.....

I heat my home with wood as much as possible in the winter, so I use a lot of these and keep buying more. Haven’t found anything better for sale. Only thing that’s this good of a bargain that works well involves scavenging the woods for sticks to use as tinder. The nuggets save a lot of time.
