A MUST FOR EBIKES USING THE BOSCH KIOX
The Bosch eBike Kiox System display’s Micro-A port can be used to allow the bike’s battery to charge my iPhone (with this cord, and an Apple OEM BRAND Micro-B (female) to Lightning adapter) - I read reviews elsewhere where folks had trouble charging using non-Apple OEM adapters, but with the Apple adapter on this Bosch cable, IT WORKS AWESOME! Note: the phone charges at super high speed while not getting hot. Lastly, this cord will allow the bike’s battery to charge my Bontrager ION PRO RT light system if needed in an emergency.

Charges, but will not power action cam
I can charge my Sony FDR-3000 action cam using this cable, but I cannot use the cable to power the camera via USB (for long duration recording). The camera recognizes the connection as "USB" like it is connected to a computer. With the camera turned off, the cable will charge the battery in the camera. Turning the camera on, displays "USB" on the camera's display.

Must have eBike accessory!
Allows you to trickle charge a handlebar mounted device, like a smartphone or a GoPro, while riding. Keep in mind that it's only about half an amp, so it really just slows the rate of discharge (in my case) of a smartphone while navigating with screen on.
