May well be the very best of the Lunchbox style high gain heads!!
First off this one was not lightly used it arrived fully sealed and had been unopened so was new not used. Cleans are warm and friendly which is very unusual for a high gain head like this one. the crunch side is big fat and very expressive with tons of gain on tap. It is also very quiet for the amount of gain it has. It's very modern sounding more in line with bands like Dream Theater and not surprisingly Altar Bridge than more classic rock or hair metal. Feels and sounds closer to a Boogie Rec or 5150 than a traditional Marshall. Feels like a much higher wattage amp than the advertised 15 watts. It really feels more like a 50 watt head the way to responds likely due to it using the 6L6's rather than 6V6's or EL 84's. Make no mistake this head is LOUD loud enough to gig with and get over a loud drummer for sure. Overall IMO it's one of the best bang for $ high gain deals out there right now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Best lunch box head by far . More like 50 watts
I bought this amp head to complete a stereo set up. I was hoping it would compliment my Marshall DSlL 15 and Marshall 4x12 cabinet , The PRS is louder . Clearer , more articulate sounding , seems more like 50 watts . Thing cranks ! Awesome tone . No need to ever by another amp . Ply it through a black star 4x12 . This is basically an offshore built 2 channel Mesa rectifier with a really nice clean channel that takes pedals very well The lead channel compared to my dual rec has more low end response, less fizzy presence, and more gain at the same setting, it’s rated at 15 watts but is comparable to my 50 watt head in decibels thru the same speaker cabinetVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
