The Hammond products are the highest quality you can purchase I just have not been able to locate an EF Johnson 160-107-1 2.3-14.2 air variable capacitor to fit in the box. I am building a uhf/vhf low power antenna tuner with SMA connectors and homebrew coil for a Baofeng UV-5 handy talkie for 2 meters and 400 MHz police scanner. The needed variable cap is either not available or cost to much with shipping.. The hand held transceiver only cost $30 they want nearly that much for the cap???? k7efx John PLEASE PURCHASE AND SUPPORT HAMMOND PRODUCTS They could only be better if they we made of UNOBTANIUM.
