Excellent, fast hard drive for my aging Gateway JM30 HD 3470 notebook
My hopelessly old Gateway JM30 HD 3470 notebook, with Windows Vista Home Premium, was given new life when I swapped out the old 250GB 5400rpm hard drive in favor of this Seagate Momentus 80GB 7200rpm 2.5" SATA hard drive, and then installed Windows 10. An excellent choice as 80GB is just fine for what it will be used for. My Gateway notebook now serves as an excellent spare PC for all my grunt work and projects. And what happens when even this 80GB 7200rpm/Windows 10 eventually becomes too slow and obsolete, especially when using the internet? I have a fast 64GB USB 3.1 flash drive with blazing fast Linux Lite installed on it, with many free bundled apps included in the Linux Lite package, also allowing for fast boot-ups and fast shutdowns.
