I bought it because someone, who is my friend, has his HDD broken.He is around 60 years old. So I decided look for it here. To be honest is difficult find this kind of HDD. The price is aceptable the only thing I have the doubt is if it really is new brand. maybe is just me but, I feel it a little bit slowly even running a XP SO. however also could be the laptop becaus is relatively old. anyways I recomend it. works fine and he is using it. hope it don't fail at least a few of years.
20GB is fine for windows xp and applications, but not great for video files and music storage. at 4200rpm the drive is far from fast but if youre buying it I doubt the computer you are putting in would be that fast anyway. Works great and quiet perfect for what i needed it for.
Great product works good. I just built a desk top and put this hard drive in it i have had no problems out of it.
