I'm a die-hard SCSI fan, as I have been using SCSI hardware for about fifteen years. I already had a batch of these Seagate Cheetah 73GB drives, and I happened upon this second batch for a really good price. I mean, how can you pass up $150 (including shipping) for ten drives? SATA has caught up, and perhaps has surpassed SCSI, but the interface still makes it easy to do multiple RAID setups. These drives will be paired with an IBM ServeRAID 6M RAID controller with 256MB RAM, for which I also picked up on E-Bay for about $70! I usually look for Buy Now, as it helps cut out the bidding wars. Long live E-Bay!
