Like an odd blue Jell-O. I wanted to use it on pocket knife assembly screws, but it doesn't want to stick to small, fine thread screws well. If you shove them into it, yes, you can sort of glob some on, but not with the care and precision of just using the old liquid blue types (that run and drip). Just my experience. For auto or motorcycle repair or something less precision, I'm sure it is fine.
