We had a Bosch dishwasher that would not stop filling no matter what. This meant that the dishwasher started overfilling the bottom and leaking all over the kitchen floor. After shutting off the water supply, it became clear that the inlet valve was stuck open and needed replacement. This replacement fit perfectly, although the old valve was powered by two female spade terminals that fit onto the old valve's male spade terminals. This new one has some kind of a connector, but the spade terminals were able to fit into the area inside the connector without any problems. (I put some shrink wrap tubing on the existing female spade terminals to make sure there would not be any short circuits between the contacts.) After reassembling the dishwasher, it was immediately apparent that this replacement valve fixed the problem when the water stopped leaking. The valve only opened during the appropriate cycle, so proper operation was confirmed and the repair was a success!Read full review

I’m not handy at all. I googled why my dishwasher tab wasn’t dissolving & found out it might be that this part was clogged. Sure enough, it was. I bought this new part & saved myself hundreds of dollars. I was one day away from buying a new dishwasher.

My Bosch silenceplus dishwasher was not cleaning dishes. Googled the cause, replaced this inlet valve. It’s working like new again.
