Yeah! Jazzmaster tones, baby
I put these pickups in a Japanese Fender Jazzmaster (I also upgraded the wiring to a US spec wiring harness at the same time). The result is pure awesomeness. Now it sounds like a jazzmaster should. The pickups fit fine and no problem with the screws or covers when adding to my Jazzmaster. Only issue is that these pickups are thinner than the Japanese jazzmaster pickups, so you need some extra padding to go under the pickups (which is not included with the set, but easy to find)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fantastic sound!
I love the high-end of these, and there is plenty of lows as well. I used them on a chambered Jazzmaster body by Warmoth, and used a Mastery bridge. Also, used Gibson style wiring but with a master tone control. All pots were 1 meg. Fantastic!! All that play this guitar are impressed.

Authentic-sounding JM pick-up
I bought these to replace the stock pickups in the new 2017 American Professional Jazzmaster by Fender, which are a "modern" pickup and a bit too strat-ish for my tastes. I looked at Duncan Antiquities, but these pickups were much cheaper, and they sound very good.
