Strong velcro, has a knotch to allow you to tie this velcro to a cable without falling off & I love using two different colors to help identify cables
I use the black to identify my microphone bag of cables and I use the grey to identify my photography bag of cables. Often times cables look similar and I get confused as to which bag which extension cord goes back into. It's easy to pull out the cables when you are setting up and say that I will remember which is which but at the end of the day when you are tired, it helps to have an identifier to aid you in knowing which set of bags the cables go back into. The velcro is strong enough to hold my cables together after they are rolled up. These Velcro strips are amazingly useful, I bought them to hang lights in a gazebo but now I find I am using and reusing them from everything from tidying up computer wires to hanging artwork on gazebo walls for art exhibits. Love my cable ties
I like the fact that some are light colored and some are dark colored. You can make them match the cords but I like to use the opposite color so they are quicker to spot. I've had some that were really thick and harder to wrap and some that don't have the slot so you can attach them to the cord. Yup, good value and problem solver
I needed some velcro straps to attach some rope lights to my deck railings. These 8 inch straps are more than long enough to do the job. They wrap double around the railings. The grey ties are black on one side, so you can have all black if you want. They come in a roll and you simply pull them apart from the fine perforations. You have to cut the first of the rolls off the cardboard packaging to start the roll. If the ad says black and grey, you get 50 all black and 50 one side gray and one side black. these are GREAT, I went through 3/4 of these ties the first night. All those loose cords your trip over, or are in the drawer, gone ! I cleaned up my computer, my tv, my tool box, all my hair appliances, kitchen appliances, then went to the cellar and tied up the fans and all the other cords.
